The overall objective of UNODC’s engagement in Mozambique is to assist the authorities in having a holistic, effective and pragmatic response in this fields, with a view to strengthening the rule of law in Mozambique and restore the confidence of populations towards their criminal justice system. Specifically, UNODC intends to strengthen the capacities of relevant national authorities through legislative assistance, technical assistance on criminal justice and law enforcement, as well as through the promotion of regional cooperation.
