Workshop Manager Full-Time

International manufacturer of trucks and fleet service solutions provider across the African continent.

• Manage the operation of the Workshop; parts department and Service Reception ensuring:
• There is an efficient flow of authorised work through the workshop;
• Quality workmanship;
• All relevant documentation is completed accurately.
• Responsible for attainment of set targets and KPI’s of the workshop
• Build and develop customer relationships through the provision of excellent customer service, ensuring customer needs are being met, and services are developed to meet the future needs of the customer;
• Management and analysis of the workshop’s operating costs, expenditure and budget;
• Monitor the workshop’s pricing and discounts to ensure that they meet the established level;
• Participate in and initiate active and effective marketing of the workshop’s services;
• Liaise with Parts department to ensure parts availability and ensure service exchange and warranty parts procedures are adhered to.

• Qualified Technician with Trade Test Qualification;
• Previous experience in workshop management and operations with sound knowledge of the heavy vehicle industry is essential;
• Previous supervisory experience essential.
