Well Execution Manager Full-Time

Purpose of the role

• The Well Execution Manager represents E&PI in all well delivery related activities required to drill, evaluate, complete and test a well. The Well Execution Manager is responsible for the results and coordination of E&PI Well Delivery Operations within the relevant Region and is responsible for the coordination, operational and safety performance at all Well Delivery work sites.

Main responsibilities

• Reviews drilling, completion, well test reports with the Wellsite Supervisor(s);
• Ensures the operations are conducted in the best interest of the Company;
• Discuss future operations plans with the Wellsite Supervisor(s) and the Well Engineer in an effort to optimize and eliminate problems;
• Manages well delivery operations including civils to minimize down time and operating expenditures;
• Responsible for the overall safety implementation for all well delivery operations;
• Manages recruitment and performance of onsite drilling personnel;
• Represents Sasol in partner and government communications as technical expert and manager;
• Communicates effectively with the Wellsite Supervisor(s) and Well Engineer(s) to ensure that all technical specifications are met;
• Encourages an atmosphere of teamwork among the well site personnel, service providers and other disciplines;
• Drives service providers, to increase the efficiency of the service and help reduce or eliminate any potential problems.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications and experience:

• University Bachelor’s Degree;
•  Typically 10 Years Relevant Experience.
