We are currently recruiting for a Visa & Work Permit Specialist for Eni Rovuma Basin based in Maputo, Mozambique. The duties of the role will be to prepare and submit work permit applications at the relevant labour authorities.
The Key responsibilities are:
- To participate in all planning and discussion process for the allocated quota for the company;
- To handle clearance requests with Finance Ministry for the whole immigration processes;
- To keep track of WP issued vs. the available quota for the company;
- To report constraints with WP processes to management;
- To handle DIRE applications and renewals of existing ones;
- To handle Work Visa Extensions for newly arrived expatriate employees to the project;
- To keep abreast of all changes and updates on immigration and labour policies and procedures that affect expats in the company;
- To communicate relevant changes and updates on immigration and labour to management;
- To prepare LOI to the relevant parties and ensure the required tracking and follow-up;
- To liaise with the relevant labour and Immigration departments and ensure that applications are on track;
- To keep track of all relevant documentation for Immigration and Work Permit processes – Handle all other immigration and WP related activities.
Skills:
- Computer illiterate;
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus;
- Portuguese Proficiency is required;
- English fluency is an advantage.
Other Requirements:
- Degree in Human Resources, Administration or other relevant field is desirable;
- Significant experience in similar roles.
