Vendor Management Specialist Full-Time

We are currently recruiting a Vendor Management Specialist for Eni, based in Mozambique. The duties of the role will be to oversee of the vendor qualification process and vendor database management based on sound commercial, financial, technical and quality requirements.

The Key responsibilities are:

• Assisting the procurement section with the verification and approval of the vendor list according to the contract strategy and the procurement plan;
• Assisting local vendor qualification & development including market intelligence activities;
• Managing the communications channel concerning vendor qualification with headquarter, other Companies within the headquarter, and with project partners;
• Managing, updating and maintaining the product and services classification list;
• Being member of the vendor qualification team;
• Updating the vendor qualification capability profile through periodic analysis of vendor’s re-evaluation and feedback reports;
• Managing external contractors assisting in the Vendor Qualification Process.

Other Requirements:

• University degree qualified in Engineering or Economics;
• At least 3 years’ experience in oil and gas projects;
• Knowledge of English language.
