Trainer on Operational and Market Orientation Full-Time

The Leadership Business Consulting is hiring a Trainer on Operational and Market Orientation in Nampula, Tete and Cabo Delgado Provinces.

Summary

The Government of Mozambique, through the Ministry of Economy and Finance and with the support of the World Bank, is implementing the Economic Linkages for Diversification Project, with the aim of strengthening the performance of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through economic linkages.

For the implementation of the project, Lattanzio KIBS was hired to organize and deliver the skills training services to 1,000 firms on – inter alia – operational and market orientation.

On this purpose, Lattanzio KIBS is building a team of 18 trainers and 4 business advisors and coaches who will undertake training, business advisory and coaching services for the target MSMEs in the provinces of Cabo Delgado, Nampula and Tete.

Interested professionals are invited to submit their expressions of interest, observing the criteria detailed in the following points.

Job Description

The trainer will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive training module, which focuses on market orientation and strategies. The module includes topics such as marketing analysis, customer insights, branding, digital marketing, and competitive environment analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver interactive, engaging and practical training sessions;
• Administer practical tools and frameworks for market analysis and strategy development;
• Evaluate participant progress and provide tailored support to maximize learning outcomes.

General Requirements: Education and experience

Candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

• University degree (at least 5 years) in management, economics, business administration, social sciences, or similar fields;
• Experience in delivering entrepreneurship training;
• Residence in Nampula, Tete or Cabo Delgado;
• Excellent knowledge of private sector dynamics;
• Working knowledge of English language;
• Good IT literacy (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, etc.).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Marketing or related fields;
• Extensive knowledge in Marketing, Business or related fields with tangible experience in the realm of entrepreneurship;
• At least 5 years-experience in training and capacity building in the domains of entrepreneurship, business development, etc.;
• Strong facilitation, communication, and presentation skills ;
• Fluent in Portuguese and in at least one local language among the one of the provinces under this assignment;
• Previous experience as university teacher with relevant pedagogical experience is a strong advantage.

Timeline

• The estimated starting date of services is September 2024. The activities will be finalized by June 2025.
• Candidates must assure full availability for the entirety of the training delivery phase.
