About this role
- Lead the telecommunications and networks design oversight effort for the entire facility;
- Liaise with EPC contractor staff in the performance of the detailed engineering, including review of specifications, drawings, progress and other activities required;
- Interface with partner IT personnel to insure security firewalls are in place for business enterprise data access;
- Indirectly provide oversight and guidance to the engineering teams, Automation and Instrumentation and Control Engineers with respect to telecoms and network system design and interfaces;
- Ensure the technical integrity of the EPC contractor’s telecommunications and network engineering / design during EPC execution.
About you
- The position requires an expert-level, up-to-date working knowledge of telecommunications and networking systems and relevant Industry Codes and Standards associated with a multiple train LNG facility;
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in LNG / Gas Processing / Refinery and/or petrochemical industries;
- Minimum 10 years of detail Telecommunications engineering experience in lead roles and/or specialization;
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as Lead Telecoms Engineer or Automation Engineer or above on a large scale LNG project;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.

The position is for a Telecommunication and Networks Engineer as part of the clients LNG Engineering team reporting to the Electrical / I&C Manager with responsibility for Telecommunications and IT networks to support the entire LNG plant and infrastructure.
