The TEFL Technical Trainer will work with the Training Director, Director of Programming and Training (DPT), Education Program Managers (PM), and Science/Math Technical Trainers to design a TEFL technical training program using participatory and experiential approaches to address the competencies identified by the PM/Education. Plan and develop English technical training schedule, the practical component (model school), and specific sessions of the TEFL training. Assist in the design and implementation of appropriate monitoring and evaluation tools for Trainees and the technical component. Provide observations, feedback, and recommendations to written assessments of Trainee performance and fully participate in trainer self-evaluations and appraisals. TEFL Tech Trainer will be required to stay overnight on-duty at the training site, as scheduled, during the contract period. Additionally, the contractor will be expected to incorporate a Mozambican context in any and all preparation, sessions and field practice with the Trainees.
