Job Description
The practice of Deloitte in Mozambique has a Taxation Services team who is dedicated to providing professional and robust tax and legal advice on all local and international tax matters. The Mozambique tax and legal environment is complex and dynamic, which makes accurate and reliable professional advice on tax and legal matters imperative. Our clients can rely on us to meet this need and do so in a proactive manner. We provide expert advice to clients seeking to do business in Mozambique and on the African continent.
Due to an increasing demand for tax and legal services, we are looking for an experienced tax manager to be part of our team based in Maputo.

Qualifications
Required Profile for Tax Manager
- Solid experience in tax, focused on corporate and international clients (minimum of 7 years);
- Academic background in law, taxation, management, economics or accounting;
- Solid technical knowledge in taxation;
- Experience in Oil & Gas will be valued;
- Specialization in taxation will be valued;
- Good leadership, communication and organization skills;
- Excellent in English language. Proficiency in Portuguese is required.
- Good interpersonal skills and team spirit;
- Proactive and commercially driven;
- Knowledge of Mozambican tax law or similar tax law is required;
- Ability to think analytically, creatively and innovatively;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Good analytical and report writing abilities; and
- Strong attention to detail.
