Sustainable Coordinator Full-Time

Overview

Duties:

• Develop a plan to manage the implementation of livelihood restorations in resettlement areas;
• Visit project sites to ensure activities are carried out as agreed;
• Seek budget support from local management in coordination with project management;
• Implement company policies on safety, environmental and community relations;
• Establish and maintain working relationships with project consultants and private contractors;
• Submit periodic reports through information gathering and field analysis data.

Requirements:

• Bachelors’ degree in Rural Development, Rural Engineering, Agriculture or related;
• At least 5 years of experience as Livelihood Coordinator and 5 years as a responsible in the mining sector, Agriculture, NGO and Consultancy;
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills;
• Good working in dynamic environments and with local communities;
• Capacity to make budgeting, management and train others;
• Fluent in English, knowledge of Emakwa, EMakinde and Swahili languages;
• Driver’s license.
