VillageReach is an NGO that develops solutions to critical health system challenges in low-resource environments, with an emphasis on strengthening the “last mile” of healthcare delivery. VillageReach combines expertise across public health, technology, and business to bring life-saving innovation – new systems, programs and technologies – to scale and sustainability in the world’s most underserved communities. VillageReach is headquartered in Seattle, WA with offices located in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Malawi and Mozambique.
VillageReach through USAID funding in 2018, has been implementing a Last Mile Supply Chain Program in Zambezia and Tete provinces. The project goal is to improve the availability of medical commodities, at the health facility level where they are needed for patient treatment to enable the achievement of Ministry of Health (MISAU) goals. VillageReach does this by establishing a functional supply chain system for medical commodities and creating effective, sustainable and efficient transportation systems. The project is expected to expand to 3 additional provinces in 2020. VillageReach is looking to recruit a Supply Chain Program Team Leader (Chief of Party) to lead the program expansion and to integrate and consolidate VillageReach Supply Chain work in Mozambique.

Supervise project staff in Maputo and in the provinces. Supervisors are expected to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; monitoring performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
VillageReach has no private offices, employees work in a shared, open environment with task and conference rooms accessible to employees for privacy and meetings. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
