Store Manager Full-Time

We are looking for an enthusiastic Store Manager to join our team in Mozambique, to Manage day-to-day store operations to ensure efficient and effective functioning. Candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in stores management, Distribution management. Prior experience in catering business preferable. Mandatory hands-on experience with stock management software ERP.

Job Description

• Strategically handle all stores activities in compliance with company policies and vision.
• Oversee receiving, storing, labelling, distribution.
• In depth knowledge about receiving procedure, storage best practises and distribution particularly for catering business.
• Evaluates deliveries, shipments, and product levels to improve inventory control procedures.
• Critical evaluation on all Shelf life items.
• Product packing and planning for robust distribution.
• Handling chemical storage and issuance.
• Prepare Daily, Weekly & Monthly stock reports.
• Responsible for receiving, packing, labelling, and Dispatching.
• Ensure efficient space utilization.
• Adhere to all storage, handling, and distribution requirements.
• Maintain standards of health, safety, and security.
• ERP maintenance, stock reconciliations. Ensure accuracy of the inventory system by updating records of physical inventory totals, receipts, adjustments, and returns.
• Work closely with Procurement, kitchen staff, Finance for reconciliations.
• Supervise a team storekeeper on the floor and ensure they perform all inbound and outbound operations, within the best Leadtime with quality & efficiency to sustain business needs.
• Escalate issues to the Line Manager as and when necessary.

Skills and Experience

• Degree/Diploma or equivalent in Store/Distribution Management or Business Administration.
• 3-5 years of experience in stores management, Distribution management
• Prior experience in catering business-preferable
• Mandatory hands-on experience with stock management software ERP.
• Expertise in store management procedures and implementing SOPs in stores.
• Excellent verbal, written communication skills, independent working, decision making, problem solving and ability to manage staff.
• Proven ability to work with team members in meeting goals and objectives.
• Worked as a store manager for at least 2-3 years or supervisory role for at least 5years.
