CCL Global are currently recruiting for a Social Investment Practitioner on behalf of our client, who are one of Mozambique´s key LNG Operators.
Key duties will include:
Understanding and working through the internal bureaucracy and ensuring efficiency of timely delivery while meeting with internal approval requirements;
Liaising and coordinating with multiple departments internally and understanding the specific requirements of each of these departments e.g. corporate, Legal, Governance and Supply Chain;
Understanding and tracking external reporting requirements and ensure Company is well informed on evolving international reporting requirements;
Accountable for execution Local Development Agreements (LDA);
Responsible for ensuring LDA governance structure functions effectively;
Act as lead interface between LDA tripartite partnership committee (communities, government and the Company);
Responsible for managing and executing small scale community development fund;
Responsible for supporting execution of social investments part of LDA in conjunction with SI Specialists and Partners.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required
Bachelor degree in Social Development, Social Sciences, Economics, business management or related field;
Minimum 7 to 10 years relevant experience in social development and sustainability;
Strong community engagement and development;
Strong operational / field work experience Good project and time management;
Experience with extractive companies, consultancies, developmental and donor agencies;
Good budget management experience, strong writing skills and problem solving.
