We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Social Inclusion Expert Consultant.
Responsibilities
- Ensure excluded groups’ needs, interests and views are incorporated in the Consultancy’s processes, methodology, data collection and analysis, and Report, with a particular focus on youth and people with disabilities.
- Identify barriers and opportunities for women, youth and people with disabilities to participate in decision-making processes related to transport, especially at the community level.
- Harmonize the social inclusion perspective with the gender equality perspective across all processes and deliverables.
- Oversee and guide Social Inclusion Research Assistant.
- This is a 7 Months contract.
Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelors required/ Master’s Degree in Social Sciences preferred.
- 7 years professional experience conducting social assessments of excluded groups.
- 5 years research experience, including studies using qualitative methods.
- Experience working in Mozambique.
- Portuguese and English proficiency.
- Experience integrating social inclusion or gender components in the transport sector, desired.
