Site Manager Full-Time

Overview

Description:

• Support the Construction Manager and Owner’s Engineer in the supervision and management of the EPC contractor in order to ensure compliance with contract requirements and safety standards;
• Review quality of construction work outcomes, witness completion and managing snagging list and close-out of items;
• Supervise contractors at the plant site ensuring that work is done correctly and in compliance with contract terms;
• Tracking EPC project schedules, deliverables and prepare the reporting of project controls;
• Verification of contractor milestone payment requests.

Requirements:

• Five (5) years’ experience in electrical operations ideally with experience of switchgear, circuit breakers, protective relay systems, inverters, transformers and switching;
• Experience in contract management, construction management, plant management, manufacturing, heavy industry, construction or utilities;
• Degree in Engineering Electrical or master’s level;
• Planning and organizing, with strong project management skills;
• Fluent Portuguese, English and preferably Macua (local dialect).
