Our client, a global and local specialist in air and sea freight services, project transport and customs clearance, is looking for a talented Site Controller to be based in Pemba with trips to Palma and Nacala.
Main Responsibilities:
- Point of contact between the company and its clients in the regions of Pemba, Palma and Nacala;
- Responsible for the processes of customs clearance;
- Point of contact with customs and port agents;
- To act as first point of contact in a site related emergency;
- Manage and be responsible for H&S compliance on Site;
- Ensure the efficient operation of the Site;
- Monitor the performance of contractors responsible for work associated with the Site;
- Manage and be responsible for the Site maintenance plan and assist in the preparation of the site reports.
Working Experience
- Must have at least 4 years of Freight & Forwarding within Oil & Gas Projects in Mozambique;
- Strong knowledge in the area of Logistics, Customs procedures, import and export (air, road and maritime).
