Our client, an international Oil and Gas Operator are looking for a SHE Coordinator to be based in their Offices in Maputo, Mozambique. The position is offered with a long-term contract and negotiable monthly salary.
Job Overview:
As SHE Coordinator you’ll be Provide general SHE oversight of the drivers.
Responsibilities:
Reports to the SPM, Logistics & Infrastructure and heavily tied to the logistics lead;
Lead or be part of the team that investigates Vehicles incidents;
Develop a schedule for drivers weekly safety meetings;
Shares Lessons Learned / Alerts from other locations with the driver;
Visit car pool centers; conduct hazard hunts;
Ensure all drivers understand EM fundamentals of safety – seek help from others when in doubt;
Understands OSHA and IITA.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Degree in Science / engineering / Safety Management;
Experience gained within a similar role;
Some knowledgeable in OSHA rules and (Incident, Injury & Hazard Loss Reporting) IIHL;
Must have the right to live and work in Mozambique as no visa sponsorship will be provided.
