Senior Specialist: Sales Technology Full-Time

Role purpose:

Manage and co-ordinate implementation activities of projects and/or initiatives as per project lifecycle within specified time, specification/ quality, budget/ available resources;

• Define project deliverables as per requirement which include user requirements specifications, project plan and project reports in accordance with Project Office standards;
• Integrate project work through, but not limited to, interfacing and liaising with all relevant CBU units (Prepaid, Retail, Marketing, M-pesa)
• Arrange and facilitate project workshops so as to ensure project requirement is clearly  defined, including conduct regular Steercom and project review meetings to ensure projects and initiatives remain on track;

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

• Manage the main Prepaid Projects like (Sales Force App, Street Vendor Model, Ambassador Model, Subscriber Registration)
• Identify and drive Prepaid projects that can help teams driving additional growth and revenue;
• Ensure project is completed on time and within budget
• Manage Legal Agreements and review them regularly to ensure that they are current and up to date;
• Conduct project scoping sessions

Key performance indicators:

• Delivery of projects within agreed timelines and budget
• Manage and ensure alignment between all stakeholders
• Audit Findings – Ensure that there are minimal findings as conducted by internal audit on those projects delivered by TPS i.e.  finding against project delivery governance

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

• Experience and Knowledge of Telecoms industry;
• Strong project management and reporting skills;
• Understanding of commercials and  strategies;
• Knowledge of GSM Billing, IT and/or VAS systems (desirable)
• Strong Commercial deal skills

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

• Relevant tertiary degree or diploma in Information Technology / Commerce (diploma, degree) (essential)
• Project Management qualification (desirable)
• Business Analysis qualification (desirable)
• A minimum of 3years relevant experience inclusive of the following:
• Minimum of 1 year Business Analysis experience (essential)
• Minimum of 2 years Project Management experience (essential)
