What you’ll do

The Management Accounting Lead is responsible for the provision of expert knowledge to deliver the management accounting activities and the accurate and timely processing of all financial transactions, ensuring the process controls are effectively maintained and monitored. The Management Accounting Lead focusses on processing, recording, classifying, consolidating and interpreting Vodafone financials; coordinating and managing Vodafone’s financial reporting requirements, including the production of monthly, quarterly and annual reports.Typically reports to the Senior Management Accounting Manager.

Who you are

• Assists, advises and executes processes and activities for reporting consolidated financial information and helps influence the shape and form of potential new accounting standards;
• Drives and maintains the delivery of the accounting input into ongoing tax and treasury activities to optimise the internal legal structure and internal and external financing arrangement;
• Maintains solid relations with managers and leaders, and acts as a provider of accurate and complete financial information on the performance of the group/market;
• Works effectively with colleagues for external and internal financial reporting and compliance related activities;
• Uses best practice knowledge to interpret new accounting procedures, assessing their impact;
• May provide informal guidance to junior staff.
