Senior Specialist Marketing, Brand & Communication Full-Time

Role purpose:

To develop, deliver and implement Brand strategy including Digital communication strategies. Planning and execution of all communications; Manage Marketing budget for advertising and promotional items; Competitor and Customer insights analysis

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

• Responsible for Brand management and corporate identity of the Vodacom brand, working closely with creative agencies , assist with new Product & Services launches and Segments Communication Strategy and Execution;
• Lead the brand positioning internally and externally, including development of in-depth knowledge of customer needs and analyse trends to ensure key performance metrics are properly monitored;
• Translate Brand strategies into brand plans, brand positioning and go-to-market strategies;
• Take responsibility for ensuring that advertising and promotion efforts increase brand value without neglecting short- and long-term needs;
• Manage Special Projects, Identify and Implement Policies and Procedures related to  overall Marketing Portfolio.

Key performance indicators:

• Ensure overall NPS leadership;
• Timely launch products and services of  Vodacom and update the communication platforms;
• 99% of Vodacom communication aligned with the business units to ensure a good customer experience and customer retention.

• Demonstrate adequate experience in management and execution of promotions, research, advertising campaigns, agency (s) and media relations;

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field;
• Know-how of Marketing disciplines and particularly customer service;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Strong analytical and project management skills;
• Know- how and/ or Designer skills  it’s an advantage.
