Senior Planning/ Scheduling Specialist Full-Time

Overview

The Senior Planning/ Scheduling Specialist is an experienced individual contributor with specialized knowledge and skills in Project Controls and will be reporting to Project Controls Manager.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing all scheduling and progress reporting requirements on the project.
• Develop and maintain a fully resource loaded integrated EPC schedule.
• Facilitate weekly/ monthly updates and critical path schedule analysis.
• Participate in planning sessions of the project with PMT.
• Establish and maintain progress measurement system aligned with the execution plan.
• Analyze schedule data and recommend solutions or recovery plans as required.
• Coordinate, participate and contribute in the risks and opportunities workshops.
• Routine interface with clients and participate in client meetings.
• Responsible for all project control deliverables to client as required by the contract.
• Responsible for all internal schedule/ progress deliverables and regional reporting.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and adherence to internal controls and procedures.
• Facilitate change management workshops.
• Other tasks as required including but not limited to training, general administration support etc.

Local Requirements

• The role is rotational-based.
• It operates on a single status (i.e., not family-accompanied).
• The location is the Afungi site.
• This position will be initially based in Dubai office for a few months and will be relocated to project site.
• The role demands strong analytical, presentation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Engineering Diploma/ Degree or equivalent.
• 7+ years of relevant EPC experience in the Oil & Gas/ Energy/ Petrochemical Industry.
• Theoretical and specialized working knowledge with Primavera (P6).
• Equivalent years of experience with Scheduling and Forecasting.
• Advanced level in MS applications such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
• Familiar with JDE or similar.
