What will you do
Reporting to the Associate Director Advisory Group, the Environmental & Social Specialist is responsible to provide support in social and environmental projects and to ensure that projects are implemented a sustainable manner, as well as to ensure the implementation of the following:
- Supervise and lead field teams.
- Prepare technical and financial proposals.
- Prepare social studies, resettlement plans, compensation plan and livelihood recovery.
- Evaluate Environmental and Social Impact.
- Elaborate Reports.
- Prepare and implement qualitative and quantitative social methodologies.
- Conduct stakeholder identification & manage processes.
- Perform environmental and social impact assessments and do feasibility studies.
- Perform public consultations.
- Perform audits, due diligence in projects related to infrastructure, energy, maritime and costal sectors.
- Execute a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods in the environmental and social field, in accordance with the national and international recognized standards.
- Coordinate environmental studies & evaluate impact.
- Coordinating resettlement processes, including the measurement of tangible and intangible losses.
