Senior Analyst / Water and Sanitation Expert

IBTCI is seeking a Senior Analyst/Water and Sanitation Expert for the Millennium Challenge Corporation’s (MCC) Mozambique Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Project in the Mozambique Compact. This person will be responsible for the technical and methodological leadership of the water and sanitation expertise. The period of performance is expected start in February 2018 and have a duration of 12 months. This position is contingent upon award.

• Responsible for designing, managing, and identifying quantitative and qualitative tasks, measure, and indicators;
• Will provide analysis and WASH technical experience throughout the course of the evaluation;
• Responsible for ensuring high quality analysis and synthesis of evaluation products related to water and sanitation;
• Responsible for providing recommendations for gaps found in the course of the evaluation.

• Master’s degree or higher in civil engineering, economics, business, finance, public policy, or related field, with at least ten (10) years of related experience;
• Demonstrated experience working in the water and sanitation sector at a utility or with a regulatory or policymaking institution;
• Demonstrated experience working with or researching the impacts of infrastructure investments
• English proficiency;
• Demonstrated experience designing or managing qualitative and quantitative research projects preferred.

Minimum Requirements:

• Master’s degree or higher in civil engineering, economics, business, finance, public policy, or related field, with at least ten (10) years of related experience;
• Demonstrated experience working in the water and sanitation sector at a utility or with a regulatory or policymaking institution;
• Demonstrated experience working with or researching the impacts of infrastructure investments;
• English proficiency.
