Senior Analyst / Evaluation Expert

IBTCI is seeking a Senior Analyst/Evaluation Expert for the Millennium Challenge Corporation’s (MCC) Mozambique Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Project in the Mozambique Compact. The ideal candidate will demonstrate significant experience designing, implementing, and disseminating results of impact or performance evaluations, particularly through publication in peer-review journals. The period of performance is expected start in February 2018 and have a duration of 12 months. This position is contingent upon award.

• Responsible for designing, managing, and identifying quantitative and qualitative tasks, measure, and indicators;
• Provide analysis and evaluation expertise including evaluation design and methodologies and development of the evaluation tool throughout the course of the evaluation;
• Responsible for ensuring high quality analysis and synthesis of evaluation products related to water and sanitation;
• Present recommendations for gaps found in the course of the evaluation.

• MA/MS/PhD in relevant field (sociology or other social science, economics, public policy, statistics, etc.);
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience conducting research in relevant sectors (health, water and sanitation);
• Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis.
