Job Objective
Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities.
Staffs and directs a sales team, providing leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision.
Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base and product lines.
Responsibilities
Develop plans and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
Maintains sales staff results by counselling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising results.
Prepares action plans for individual reps to effectively prospect for new business.
Conduct daily one-on-one reviews with all sales reps to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of the sales reps performance.
Control and plan daily call sheets for effective coverage of current and future clients.
Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance of sales staff.
Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports.
Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
Assists sales reps in preparation of proposals and presentations to clients.
Explore tele-sales and tender opportunities.
Initiates and coordinate action plans to penetrate new markets.
Assist office manager on a weekly basis with debtors control.
