Lead the Territory Management team for the defined region in achieving the sales and business objectives for the key distributors and the sales area as set by the Distributor Agreements and Joint Business Plans. Co-develop Field Sales Force Strategy together with Country Manager. Lead and plan sales resources in sales area. Lead sales force projects. Monitor and ensure ongoing distributor profitability for business continuity.
Job Summary
Responsible for setting ambitious business targets by distributor in collaboration with Customer Development Operations team;
Closely monitor weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual performance against set targets and KPIs (volumes, turnover, coverage, pricing, warehousing, payments/cash collection, etc);
Coach the Field Sales force for to drive capability development and performance delivery in relation to the targets set and build a winning spirit within his/her team;
Lead the Field Sales Force through showing by example on the job;
Ensure streamlined implementation of the customer strategy at POS in order to further build market share;
Prepare and lead the Sales Team Meetings with focus on results vs. targets set. Together with the sales team, identify & implement actions for closing possible results gaps in the concerned POS when they occur;
Define guidelines for coverage planning and execution to continuously ensure product availability in trade;
Follow up of field budgets versus incremental sales per territory manager;
Build excellent ways of working and relationships with the Key Distributor owner/manager/team;
Gather and provide competitive information and market insights to cross functional teams at head office (Channel & Category Development, Customer Development Operations, Finance, Supply Chain) on a regular and continuous basis;
Evaluate sales reps and territory managers on personal performance and contribution based on facts and observable data;
Responsible for implementing SHEQ and Security policies and management systems relevant to the role.

Key Requirements
Essential:
Bachelor’s degree;
3 to 5 years relevant field sales force and team management experience
Desirable:
2 years marketing experience is an advantage;
2 years of trade category management is an advantage;
Skills: Business Acumen, negotiations, driving customer business plans.
