Organizational context

Reporting directly to the head of Partnership and FLA Management unit, this position is located in Mozambique country office, Maputo

Job purpose

To perform specialized and/or standardized policy and programme -related processes and activities to support the effective delivery of assistance packages.

Key accountabilities (not all-inclusive)

• Coordinate with Sub-Offices to ensure timely submission of monitoring data, Distribution Plans, Cooperating Partners Commodity reports, etc., reviewing accuracy of such reports and consolidating across Activities as relevant;
• Consolidate the Operational Planning provided by respective activity manager for each activity;
• Based the operational plan, undertake monthly preparation and consolidation of the delivery plans (DDPs) in coordination with sub office, Budget Programming Unit and logistics;
• COMET – Manage, review and validate the data (Partnership – FRN – Distribution Report – Cooperating Partner Completion Report) in consultation with activity managers and other COMET Report extraction;
• LESS (SAP) – Stocks count in WFP warehouses, Food Delivery Reports, Customer Number Report;
• Ensure LESS (SAP) vs COMET monthly Reconciliation and data analysis;
• Create in SAP the Loan & Borrowing, Food transfer from one project to other;
• Process the agreements in COMET after Budget approval of Cooperating Partners Committee;
• Coordinate and Consolidate all the information (monthly forecast) based on the signed agreements;
• Provide daily support to Sub-Offices’ on COMET related matters;
• Consolidate training plan and deliver training on standard operation procedures (SOPs) for COMET, Reporting, claims etc.
• Act as alternate for system related tasks (ITS/SAP).

Standard minimum qualifications

• Education: Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in the related functional area is desirable;
• Experience: At least five years of relevant experience in the functional area
  Language: Fluency in both oral and written communication in English and Portuguese Languages.
