Establish and maintain a good relationship with journalists/mass media to publicize Company activities in Mozambique;
Prepare Company press releases in consultation with the program officers and send them to mass media whenever Company organizes events, and invite them to the events as well as share event schedule in advance;
Send Company press releases to mass media periodically in order to publicize Company ordinary activities;
Respond to media/journalists about misinformation on Company projects, and publicize the correct information.
2.Compilation of PR information
Translate articles related to Company projects and/or other development-related issues on newspapers/TVs/radios/journals into English and make an analysis to report to the Company Headquarters in Japan every week;
Translate any important articles related to Nacala Corridor development on newspapers/TVs/radios/journals into English;
Organize and/or participate in PR events and media tours;
3.Preparation of materials for PR
Create PR materials (calendar, notice boards along roads, banners of projects and activities, photo panels, exhibition at the reception, etc);
Edit and write articles on newsletters (once per three months), Company website (website of the Company Mozambique office, facebook, etc) on Company projects in Portuguese and publish them.
4.Others
Make a proposal of PR activities for Company in general.
Program and project management in the following sectors under the instruction of Japanese and senior Mozambican staff
Investment promotion;
Urban and corridor development planning;
Implementation of on-going projects including necessary coordination with Mozambican institutions, development partners, Company HQs and Japanese experts/consultants as well as logistical arrangements and paper works;
Formulation and planning of new projects;
Knowledge management including participation in the sector meetings and elaboration of report in Portuguese and English
Requirements
University graduate or equivalent;
Having related work experience or related study career;
Less than 35 years old at the end of year 2019;
Having high English and Portuguese proficiency (reading, writing and speaking);
Having good computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
Being able to work flexibly such as overtime working and business trip.
