The Catholic Relief Services is hiring a Program Manager II.
Catholic Relief Services is the official international humanitarian agency of the Catholic community in the United States. CRS works to save, protect, and transform lives in need in more than 100 countries, without regard to race, religion or nationality. CRS’ relief and development work are accomplished through programs of emergency response, HIV, health, agriculture, education, microfinance, and peacebuilding. CRS has had a physical presence in Mozambique since 2017, with an administrative office in Maputo, a program office in Pemba, Cabo Delgado province, and an emergency field office in Montepuez, Cabo Delgado. In Cabo Delgado, CRS has a portfolio of projects implemented by partners in emergency shelter and WASH, livelihoods and economic strengthening, and social cohesion. The country program also has SILC and ECD programming in other provinces and responds to periodic cyclones that affect the coastal areas and will be the lead on local and regional procurement for the World Vision-led McGovern-Dole program.
You will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of the Country Program (CP) focused on SNV’s Opportunities for Youth Employment (OYE), Livelihoods, Microfinance (Savings and Internal Lending Communities-SILC) programming, with a specific focus on Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) projects. Your role will involve managing and providing technical guidance to ensure that effective systems and processes are in place to support high-quality programming, contributing to Catholic Relief Services’ (CRS) mission of serving the poor and vulnerable. Your strong management skills and knowledge will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality programming and continuously improving the impact of livelihoods and microfinance initiatives.
