The Workforce Africa is hiring a Program Associate.

Job Overview

The Program Associate will be responsible for working with stakeholders – government, partners and offshore team to enable successful implementation and adoption of the DIGIT HCM platform in health campaigns. This position will be based in Maputo with significant travel to various locations within the area of responsibility. The position will report to the Program Manager (West Africa).

Requirements

Program Delivery/ Implementation

• Work with Program Manager to help execute the plan that has been finalized for a particular campaign digitization.
• Leverage on project management tools like JIRA for effective campaign execution.
• Support various on-field activities including UAT, training and enablement of all stakeholders at all levels on application usage & technology deployment and other campaign roll-out activities.
• Work with solutions team at Bangalore to enable customization of solution as per the requirements for the campaign.
• Train and enable stakeholders at all levels on application usage and technology deployment.
• Provide demo of the solution developed to stakeholders from time to time, capture feedback provided and ensure effective management of feedback.
• Work with Program Manager to ensure there is an agenda set for meetings, develop content to be presented during the meeting and document the outcome, minutes, actions of the meetings; Follow-up and track completion of action items. Update and publish trackers/ reports as assigned.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to enable conducting of events such as User Acceptance Testing, Master Training etc including selection of venue, identification of participants and sending out meeting invites

Product Solutioning

• Understand the digital product that is offered by the firm.
• Capture effectively the requirements for different campaigns and translate the same to user stories which can be taken up by the Implementation team in Bangalore.
• Manage change requests effectively and suggest alternatives as needed.
• Capture feedback from the field and converting the same to product feature.

Data Analysis

• Data analysis of reports generated to enable provision of meaningful insights for better management of campaign.
• Training stakeholders on data analysis.
• Any other research and analysis required to support the program execution.

Training and Documentation

• Prepare training manuals, troubleshooting guides, SOPs, MoMs and other artifacts as needed including language translation of existing artifacts.

Skills required

• The candidate needs to have good written and verbal communication skills with an ability to understand and effectively articulate the ideas or problems statements pertaining to the domain.
• The candidate must have good interpersonal skills with a desire to reach out to different stakeholders, understand their problems and work towards solutions.
• Keenness and/or experience of working with the government is desirable. Prior exposure to the public sector, development sector, or consulting is desirable.
• Documentation skills: Prepare presentations, user manuals, training material and reports, and work with excel sheets.
• The candidate must have experience in conducting trainings for group.
• Working knowledge of tools like Figma and other business analysis tools is a plus.
• Should be fluent in English and Portuguese.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ experience of on-ground IT/Technology product implementations in Govt programs or impact/social sector programs/ consulting engagements.
• Experience in technology rollout and implementation enabling adoption by end users is important. Experience in public health/ any health domain is good to have.
• Minimum Qualification: Graduate degree in engineering or related fields or a Master’s degree in any of the following: Business Administration or Public Health will be a plus.
