Young Africa Mozambique (YAM) intends to engage a highly skilled individual/firm to produce a documentary/advocacy film on the importance of resilient construction practices in mitigating the effects of natural disasters on life and infrastructure. Since November 2019, YAM has been working as implementing partner of a project funded by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), which focuses on promoting resilient habitations through its outreach technical vocational education training programmes in the affected communities in Sofala Province. As part of this project YAM will also construct 40 houses for the most vulnerable cases.
To produce an audiovisual documentary with subtitles showcasing how the project has impacted the affected communities, including stories of change. Areas to be covered are Chibabava District – Muconja, Chicuacha, Macarate and Jerome in Gonda.
Payments by the organization are delivery-based. Any deliverable not meeting the required specifications will have to be reworked and resubmitted at no additional cost to the organization. Based on satisfactory performance, payments will be approved by the Director.
Payments of total budget will be processed upon delivery of the following product along with invoice: Detailed timeline, work plan and draft outline (10%); Detailed budget and shooting schedule (20%); First cut of documentary (30%); Project files, B-rolls and all raw material (10%); Delivery of the approved documentary (30%).
