PRI Mozambique is recruiting a Procurement Coordinator with features bellow.
Responsibilities:
Obtain vendor data and / or enter vendor data into the purchasing database;
Maintain healthy, trustworthy and positive relationships with suppliers and continually search for areas where costs can be reduced without sacrificing quality;
Approve, organize and process documentation (bids, invoices, accounts, vendor comparisons and more);
Monitor the actual delivery dates in relation to the dates of need and coordinate the delivery actions;
Prepare graphs, reports and documents for acquiring files electronically;
Prepare purchase orders and send copies to the suppliers and the departments that originate the orders;
Determine if stock quantities are sufficient for the needs by requesting more materials;
Contacting suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and to solve shortages, delayed deliveries, and other problems;
Requirements:
Degree in a relevant area (logistics / commerce);
At least 4 years of experience in procurement;
Excellent computer skills;
Must be able to interact effectively with customers, suppliers;
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures manuals.
