McDermott, as part of the CCS Joint Venture, is executing a major EPC project for a 2-train grass roots Lump Sum LNG project in Mozambique. Position will be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Piping QC Supervisor will supervise and oversee all construction qc activities concerning piping in accordance to project(s) processes, specification, and drawings.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Perform Quality Control Inspection on Piping fabrication & erection;
Perform field inspection of fitting and welding in accordance with project specification and scope as noted in the ITP;
Review and familiarize with Project AFC drawing, NDT drawing, ITP, Work Instruction and Project specification relating to assigned project;
Execute the inspection and Quality Control activities on site, collecting the relevant objectives proofs, ensuring monitoring and coordination of quality control activities on electrical and instrument equipment/system construction, installation and mechanical completion activities;
Conducting business & performing duties in accordance to McDermott’s ” Code of Business Conduct” and any other governing of the company.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum more than 5 year possess as relevant position;
Practical experiences with all inspection activities related to during all phases of project fabrication, erection as well as sail-away;
University in Technical Degree;
Having at least five years approved post qualification work experience as Piping inspector on Industrial Oil and Gas facilities, both fabrication, erection installation up to Mechanical completion;
At least posses CSWIP 3.2 holding qualification and advantages if having API 570 qualification.
