Financial Controller / Manager Full-Time

San Martinho Beach Club, a lifestyle resort boasting self-catering and hotel accommodation, including a beach bar, restaurant and conference facility, is currently looking for an experienced Financial Controller / Manager who has the ability to work under pressure and has excellent communication skills.

Key Performance Areas:

The successful candidate will be responsible to oversee the capturing of the financial data by the bookkeepers, and to prepare management accounts for submission to SA on a monthly basis, for two businesses, and 6 divisions within those businesses.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Financial Controller or Financial Manager, where the role includes staff oversight;
• Formally qualified with an undergraduate degree is a minimum requirement;
• Fluent in English, written and spoken;
• Excellent knowledge and experience dealing with The Mozambique Revenue Authorities (MRA) for monthly returns;
• Hospitality experience would be a huge advantage or Food and Beverage;
• Excellent computer literacy skills including Pastel and MS Excel;
• Mozambique national / citizen;
• Must be based in Bilene, or willing to relocate to Bilene (Accommodation is  provided);
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Valid driver’s license with own reliable transport.
