These jobs are found primarily in WFP Field based Offices, and job holders typically report to Programme Policy Officer or Programme Associate. The reporting lines may change depending on the size of the office.
At this level work is carried out under minimum supervision. Job holders are expected to produce organised and accurate technical work and reports. They may provide guidance on standard practices to other staff and counterparts in their area of work.
To perform monitoring activities within a specific coverage area and provide reports to support the effective delivery of assistance packages.
Under the direct supervision of the WFP Head of Sub Office and in collaboration with School Meals (SM)/PRONAE Focal Point at the Direcção Provincial de Educação e Desenvolvimento Humano (DPEDH) and the Activity 4 Manager at CO level, the Field Monitor will assist the Sub Office to strengthen the capacity of the DPEDH in implementing the National Programme for School Meals (PRONAE) in Mozambique, specifically in her/his duty station in districts where School Meal Programme is implemented.
The Field Monitor, with the support of the Head of Sub Office and PRONAE Focal Point at DPEDH, will perform the following tasks:
