To ensure proper monitoring of WFP’s Country Strategic Plan (CSP), the Country Office in Mozambique has invested in bolstering its monitoring and evaluation capacity. This involved, amongst others, creation of a dedicated M&E team, updating the Monitoring, Review, and Evaluation Plan of the Country Office (CO), and development of related Mozambique Minimum Monitoring Requirements.
As part of the investments in the Monitoring Function, the Country Office has been working on strengthening the capacity of the M&E team dedicated to monitor each CSP Activity/Programme at the country office and the Focal Points at the field offices. In the districts and localities where WFP is implementing its country portfolio, WFP is dedicating efforts to consolidating a team of field monitors to perform all monitoring related activities, ensuring monitoring coverage and meeting corporate standards, while segregating relevant duties throughout the process.
Under the supervision of the M&E Assistant of the WFP Sub-Office Locations and the M&E Officer Team Lead at the CO, the incumbent will be responsible of implementing all monitoring related activities detailed in the below duties.
