Merchandiser / Promoter

Our company based in Mozambique is looking for a Merchandiser / Promoter to join their dynamic team. NB this is a 6 month contract

Education and Minimum Requirements:

• Matric
• Certificate or Diploma in Marketing
• Sales or Service experience preferably in Automotive industry

Competencies:

• Fluent in English and local language
• Willing to travel
• Proven working experience as a promoter
• Track record of over-achieving quota
• Ability to understand customer needs and handle different types of personalities
• Strong communication, negotiation and social skills

Responsibilities

• Distributing product samples, brochures, flyers etc. to target market
• Demonstrating product s and services presentations, generating interest and qualifying sales prospects
• Create a positive brand image that will lead consumers to buy
• Identify interest and understand customer needs and requirements
• Set up booths or promotional stands and stock products in stores (Merchandising)
•  Execute market surveys
• Report on activities, market trends & achieved target, account share per customer
