We are looking for an organized Sales and Marketing Manager to assist in the advertising and selling of our company’s products and to create competitive advantages for our company in the market industry. The Sales and Marketing Manager’s responsibilities include generating unique sales plans, creating engaging advertisements, emails, and promotional literature, developing pricing strategies, and meeting marketing and sales human resource objectives. The Sales and Marketing Manager represents the company’s brand and drives strategies to increase product awareness by observing the market, competitors, and industry trends.

Responsibilities

Planning

• Promoting the company’s existing brands and introducing new products to the market;
• Manage new products from conceptualization, to leading the creation of the Minimum Viable Product (MVP), to improvement/evolution;
• Prepare business plans and SWOT analysis;
• Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding consumer
  requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve
  the company’s marketing goals;
• Implementing new sales plans and advertising.

Management

• Organize, manage contacts, accounts, leads and opportunities;
• Researching organizations and individuals online (and on social media) to identify new
  leads and potential new markets;
• Liaise with internal and external clients to ensure smooth process of project, liaising with
  both to manage issues and contacting senior management in exceptional situations;
• Manage projects;
• Staying current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, and
  workshops, reading publications, and maintaining personal and professional networks.

Documentation

• Keep informed on market conditions and potential business ventures/clients through
  newspapers, magazines, news, conferences, workshops, etc;
• Staying current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, and

• Keep informed on public & private tenders (through at least the channels presented above) and assist in preparing the proposals in English and Portuguese;
• Prepare (and respond to) letters and emails in English and Portuguese.

Skills

• Excellent knowledge of Windows Office Productivity Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc);
• Understanding and knowledge of marketing, sales, and product development.
• Experience in management may be advantageous;
• Fluent in English and Portuguese;
• Strong communication skills essential, as you will interact with clients.
