In line with its principles of skills development and contribution to local young talent in the areas of rural development, ELIM Serviços Lda has in place an Internship Programme which benefits a limited number of candidates every year based on competitive selection.
Successful candidates are afforded the opportunity to be embedded with the organisation’s operational areas for a period of up to 8 months based on the demonstrated skills and specialisation of interest. During this time, candidates will be able to apply the theoretical knowledge earned through academic work to the practical environment of a diverse international development firm. At the end of the internship term, the candidate will be evaluated for an opportunity to be considered for any existing and suitable permanent positions.
To this end, we hereby offer you the opportunity to join ELIM Serviços Lda and form part of the firm’s Business Development Team in the capacity of Intern: Marketing and Research. In this position, the intern will respond to the Director of Business Development and Learning, Ms Ercilia Mata Ubisse.
ELIM is looking to welcome an Intern: Marketing and Research to join our Business Development (BD) Team. The BD Team supports the Technical Team by taking the lead on all external engagements, from finding and bidding on new project opportunities to managing the ELIM Serviços brand. Our BD Team is responsible for building our project pipeline, identifying, resourcing and submitting competitive proposals in our areas of activity. It is also the central point of contact for any partnership discussions, and it oversees the firm’s corporate brand, managing our image, presence and positioning in the market.
The Intern: Marketing and Research is a junior staff position reporting to the Business Development and Learning Director. S/He should possess keen research and report-writing skills, excellent communication, high concentration levels, good task management, and superior problem solving and critical thinking skills. S/He will work on a variety of areas, including brand management and marketing, social media engagement, event coordination and planning, technical research, and market content development. The Intern: Marketing and Research must demonstrate a strong ability to work in a diverse team and engage external stakeholders, both local and international, in accordance with corporate expectations.
