Maintenance Technician Full-Time

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

To manage the function of maintenance for all company assets and infrastructure across the business

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reporting: compile and maintain reports on completed/outstanding tasks and maintenance staff
• Maintenance to all stores & equipment (i.e. day-day maintenance; weekly, monthly & quarterly inspections)
• Visit stores within region to monitor and proactively determine maintenance needs
• Ensure the maintenance of all assets and equipment in the region, which include but is not limited to generators, electrical-; and electronic equipment
• Manage and coordinate the installation of fixtures and fittings (F&F) within the region
• Training & development of junior staff
• Health and safety: complete duties/tasks within standards, measure and monitor compliance

JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• A strong technical maintenance background and/or technical qualification
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in a role that involves general maintenance, repairs & problem solving.
• Computer literate (MS Office)
• Language: Portuguese & English (fluent speak and write)
• Valid driver’s licence
• Willingness to travel within the country
• Mozambiquen citizen required
