Loss Control Area Manager Full-Time

Well established company in the Retail Loss Control industry is seeking an experienced manager for their Mozambique operations to be stationed in Maputo.

Oversee the following:

• Scheduling as per management opening and closing.
• Control guarding complement.
• Waste control, receiving, key & seal control, front end security, staff entrance
• Pilferage investigations
• Overall LCM checklists to be completed weekly:
• Fruit and veg checklist
• Bakery checklist
• Bakery weight control sheet (daily)
• Pilferage control sheet
• Expired stock control sheet
• Outdated PI labels control sheet
• Daily incident report
• Merchandiser control sheet
• Day to day addressing of problems as stipulated in check lists and other duties.
• Panic buttons, alarm walk tests and functionality.
• Involvement in shrinkage meetings.
• EAS – “tagging system” operations followed.
• Daily monitoring of CRO and view charts.
• Fire escape seals to be changed monthly with management and new seal recorded.
• Fire escape and alarms checks to be carried out daily.
• Monitoring of staff purchases throughout the day.
• Reporting of daily incidents to the regional manager’s team immediately.
• All arrests to be recorded on the daily incident report.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Fluent in English and Portugese
• Retail and management experience essential
• South African citizen to be in posession of valid passport and work permi
• Salary negotiable based on experience
