Responsible for the development and effective implementation of the warehousing and distribution strategy for Mozambique, Botswana and Zambia and developing the strategic execution plans for the business unit to achieve profitability and overall business objectives for global beverage company

Detailed Responsibilities:
Develops and implements the warehousing and distribution function’s strategy and annual business plan that supports the achievement of overall business objectives through third party logistics to ensure On time and in full delivery targets;
Implement strategies to increase efficiency, improve customer service and ensure continuous process improvement;
Responsible for managing the operational budget and expenditure and identifies opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiencies in order to achieve the most cost effective and profitable warehousing and distribution solutions;
Development and management of SLA’s with preferred distributors;
Must speak Portuguese. Role based in Maputo.
Qualifications:
Holds a recognized and relevant qualification Degree in Transport / Logistics / Supply Chain management;
Minimum of 10 years senior management experience in logistics (including warehousing, distribution and transportation);
Strong 3PL management experience;
Strong people management skills.
Experience
Warehousing and distribution management and knowledge essential;
Proven performance and demonstrated ability in third party transporter relations, negotiations and management.
