Logistics and Warehouse Team Leader Full-Time

Specification

Ensure consistent availability of all products to all our customers.

• Create, maintain and update distribution routes to ensure cost effective distribution of all products to all customers through all our channels;
• Manage the rooster of delivery drivers, to ensure all deliveries occur as planned.

Supply Chain Management

• Ensure availability of all products in our central warehouse, stores, distributors and the market, by engaging all our suppliers, ensuring timely delivery to the central warehouse;
• Ensure availability of all imported products engaging the relevant suppliers and managing the entire value chain and despatch, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery to the central warehouse;
• Manage, and update pricing of products, accounting for all costs as well as exchange rates and submit to Commercial Manager for approval and signed-off.

Team Management and Reports

• Providing accurate and timely reports of stocks, delivery efficiencies and costs;
• Coach and motivate warehouse and delivery team to achieve plans.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of proven working experience as a Logistics or Warehouse Manager;
• Record of successful distribution and logistics management;
• Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff;
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills;
• Ability to work independently;
• Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain;
• Having strong communication skills;
• Strong leadership talent, interpersonal and organizational skills;
• Good personal presentation;
• Ability to make Decisions under pressure;
• Good commercial and business understands;
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
