Ntendele Lodge is looking to recruit a committed person as Lodge Manager to welcome our guest, both weekend and tourist from all over the world.
Ntendele means peace in the local language which speak for the serene atmosphere we are trying to create at the lodge. This is the most southern of only three lodges on the remote shores of lake Niassa. The site is teeming with wildlife and waters are crystal clear with an abundance of colourful cichlids.
The sunsets are the most amazing one can imagine. The lodge is located only a few km from the Malawi boarder and can only be accessed by boat from Meponda, a small fishing village about 60km from the provincial capital of Niassa – Lichinga.
All construction are made using local material in a way to disturb the pristine nature as little as possible. All energy is from solar and wind and the lodge is self-sufficient on vegetables from the own garden.
We are looking for someone who is committed, confident, innovative and with hand on experience of managing in remote locations.
You will report directly to the owners of the lodge.
