The goal of the ECHO activity is to support the Government of Mozambique’s (GRM) achievement of HIV/AIDS epidemic control and establishing a sustainable, government-led HIV response by 2023 in provinces where USAID is the primary clinical support partner. Viamo will provide both technical expertise as well as digital solutions for the project to enhance the effectiveness of the activities. Specifically, Viamo will leverage mobile technology to generate demand and increase outreach from facilities to communities to establish accountability mechanisms, and support improved data for decision-making. Develop and manage knowledge management platform to share updates, best practices and results.
This is a seconded position to the five-year, USAID-funded Efficiencies for Clinical HIV Outcomes (ECHO), implemented by a consortium led by Abt Associates. The Specialist will work under the day-to-day direction of ECHO Project Senior Evidence & Strategic Information Generation Manager, while reporting directly to the Country Representative in Mozambique for all operational and technical issues and consult with the Technical Team Lead for technical issues, as appropriate.
