The Junior Facilities Engineers will be responsible for providing on-going operational support to Temane Operations as defined on a day to day basis by the Plant Manager, Technical Manager or Production Superintendents at CPF.
Main responsibilities
Optimize the process and production equipment at CPF plants;
Create and maintain knowledge management system for SPT;
Perform extra-ordinary and routine tasks assigned at the direction of a senior level engineer using standards set by the company, group or manufacture;
Perform electrical engineering design, including the development of single line diagrams, panel schedules, schematics, connection diagrams, load lists, etc;
Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering methods, techniques, procedures and criteria, using independent judgment with oversight from more senior engineers;
Develop, review and coordinate documents with suppliers and other internal disciplines;
Proficient with basic engineering deliverables such as drawings, specifications and calculations;
Develop, propose and implement maintenance strategies;
Improvement of CPF electrical equipment/systems MTBF;
Support maintenance team on electrical faulting and root cause analysis;
Provide timely communications on significant issues or development;
Lead and coordinate the teams;
End-to-end project management;
Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures;
Provide interface with supply chain, maintenance, process and production for quality and safety assurance during equipment/material or service procurement;
Support supply chain/ manufacturing/ vendors with any issues they may have when manufacturing a system or sub-system;
Help to address sourcing/obsolescence issues with the system and re-design aspects of the system with new products, as necessary;
Assist SHE department with technical support & reporting for quality assurance and improve CPF safety systems integrity;
Provide SHE and environment teams with reliable plant data;
PSI (Process Safety Information): responsible for keeping latest up to date P&IDs, PFDs, data sheets, underground drawings (incl. cables) to be used by the rest of site;
PHA (Process Hazard Analyses): provide necessary information and input into PHA analysis during annual/bi-annual audits.
Requirements:
Minimum qualifications and experience:
BSc. Degree in Electrical Engineering or other related engineering discipline from an accredited university or college;
Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical design of heavy industrial power distribution systems, lightning and grounding;
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in optimization of manufacturing processes and related disciplines;
Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical systems maintenance;
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in technical management and end-to-end projects management;
Experience with DeltaV & Allen Bradley control systems (PLCs & DCS), VFD will be an advantage.

Functional / Technical
Track record in project feasibility, front-end engineering design, detailed engineering design and project execution in the oil & gas business;
Track record in the development of conceptual design for E&P Development Projects, including the identification and definition of the phased investment programme required to fully exploit an oil or gas resource;
Experienced with working as a team together with other upstream oil & gas disciplines such as exploration, geology, petroleum engineering, reservoir engineering and drilling;
An understanding of the contributions and roles & responsibilities made by the other upstream oil & gas disciplines such as exploration, geology, petroleum engineering, reservoir engineering and drilling;
Experience in optimization of upstream operations and projects of oil and gas production facilities;
Knowledge of engineering codes and standards relevant to the E&P industry;
Experience in offshore projects (fixed, floating and subsea) will be advantageous;
Experience in unconventional gas development (Shale and Coal-Bed Methane/Coal-Seam Gas) will be advantageous;
Experience and track record of the management of engineering service providers (consultancies and engineering contractors);
Track record in cost, schedule and quality control, including CAPEX and OPEX estimation;
Experience in working within partnership/JV operations;
Willingness to make international business trips and the ability to work overseas for extended periods;
