Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Public Relations or related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in internal/corporate communications or marketing or public relations/journalism.
Communications and employee engagement experience, particularly with multi-cultural, international audiences.
Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading skills, as well as the journalistic ability to source stories from employees.
Creative editorial and visual storytelling skills, beyond listing facts and details.
Tech savvy person with proven skills using digital and video communications and eagerness to pick up new tools quickly. Intranet and video-editing experience is also helpful.
Experience operating in a fast-paced environment and easily adjusting when required.
Highly organized, with strong time and project management skills.
Proficiency in Portuguese and English is a strong advantage.
Activities
Drive an annual internal communications plan that highlights the work and organizational impact of TotalEnergies.
Connect, inform, and inspire our global employee audience and encourage active staff engagement.
Be responsible for crafting internal communications campaigns in support of TotalEnergies efforts– participating in the process from conception and implementation to measurement and key insights.
Co-own the management and update of the TEPMA1 related Equality area on the WAT intranet, Viva Engage (Yammer) and support the Diversity Equity Inclusion (DEI) communications and TEPMA1 Internal Communication email inboxes.
Manage, collate, and distribute organizational announcements, working with internal and external partners on content alignment and language requirements.
Provide support in developing communication content and material for different internal audiences.
Collaborate closely with partners across all TotalEnergies regions and countries to ensure all updates are collected.
Provide overall support to the internal communications team, ensuring a TEPMA1 lens is applied to internal communications content.
Research, write and publish stories and videos for Yammer and other key internal communications channels (key newsletters, regular communications tools etc.).

The Internal Communications Officer will be responsible for working in a global impact-oriented organization driving communications around TotalEnergies Gender Equality Diversity and Inclusion efforts.
The role will play a pivotal role in engaging, informing, and inspiring TotalEnergies staff across Mozambique with the Projects progress and initiatives.
With a focus on storytelling and relationship building, you’ll make the most of multiple internal channels to effectively connect with employees throughout the world.
This position is based in Maputo office, with travels when required.
