Founded in 2011, the International NGO Safety Organisation (INSO) is an international non-governmental organization that supports humanitarian aid workers by establishing safety coordination platforms in insecure contexts. INSO provides registered NGOs with a range of free services, including real-time incident tracking, analytical reports, safety-related data and mapping, crisis management support, staff orientations and training. INSO provides daily support to more than 1000 NGOs operating in 16 of the world’s most insecure countries. INSO is registered in the Netherlands with its headquarters based in The Hague, the international city of peace and justice.
Mozambique is one of INSO’s newest platforms where services started in September 2022. INSO Country Office is in the capital, Maputo. We cover the northern region with a field office in Pemba and a second field office will be opened in 2023 in Nampula. With INSO Mozambique, you will directly support humanitarian efforts through advice and analysis that helps partners to stay safe.
The primary goal of the position is to manage the Information Team within a country programme. The IM is responsible for complete understanding of all Conflict & Humanitarian Data Centre (CHDC) data entry, capabilities, storage, and security. He/she is also the programme focal point for the CHDC and the Partner’s Portal (IPP) and facilitates partner registrations. The IM also provides technical support for creating visualisations and dashboards.
