Industrial Relations Coordinator Full-Time

Wood is currently recruiting for Industrial Relations Coordinator for the Low Pressure Compression Phase III Project based in the Inhambane Province, Mozambique.  Mozambique nationals are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advice and guidance on all personnel and industrial relations matters affecting the site;
• Assist in the negotiation of the site agreement, to recruit and release labor and to deal with all labor disputes and grievances at site level in accordance with the ruling Industrial Relations Policy and Company procedures;
• Investigate local labor agreements if any, where a ‘Site Agreement’ already exists be familiar with its contents, seeking clarification of any clauses which are not fully understood;
• Ensure that all staff are fully aware of the terms of the Site Agreement, the interpretation of each clause and the disciplinary and dispute procedures to be followed. Also, Ensure that Construction Contractors are informed of all matters which will affect them.

• Industrial Relation Diploma;
• 5 years in applicable project environment;
• Effective conflict resolution skills;
• Excellent organizational skills.
