Bachelor’s Degree of Science in HSEQ and/or Petroleum Engineering.
Maximum of 3 years’ experience in oil and gas or related industry.
In the specialty (specify which): HSE and/or Training – 3 years’ experience.
Good English (written and spoken) a and Portuguese. French is a plus.
Strong computer skills including mastering in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with other departments, under pressure, delivering services with quality on time.

Strongly support the deployment of the key HSE programs, including TotalEnergies 12 Golden Rules and awareness-raising campaigns as well as Company’s HSE initiatives in all affiliate’s sites.
Implement techniques and promote innovative methods and technologies to improve HSE department performance.
Occasionally participate in HSE visits onsite and Safety tours, among others.
Conduct or participate in incident investigations or root causes analysis from HSE events whenever required.
Participate actively in the issuance of the HSE Management System documents (procedures, Terms of Reference, etc).
Reporting
Develop tools and systems for HSE reporting.
Liaise with Group and E&P data reporting team to identify improvement areas of the HSE systems.
Ensure timely and quality HSE reporting (weekly, monthly, bi-annual and annual) for different stakeholders.
Provide management with HSE events analyses and trends and propose focus areas.
Act as expert adviser for HSE reporting and performance monitoring.
Responsible for management of the event reporting and tracking tool (Synergi).
Provide guidance, training and support on usage of Synergi to TEPMA1 and Project personnel.
Develop and update procedures for Synergi usage, and for collection and reporting of HSE statistics based on the Group.
Requirements
Improve reporting dashboards and maintain up to date action tracker with actions resulting from incidents, near misses, anomalies and audits.
Engage key stakeholders in the HSE reporting cycle to ensure accurate information and for timely closing of actions (action assignees and case owners).
Provide guarantee of quality incident and near miss investigation process and analyses of accidents (Cause Tree Analysis), as well as information recorded in Synergi.
Support a continual performance improvement process by issuing and sharing lessons learnt from HSE events, and by actively promoting and communicating HSE best practices and feedbacks (REX);
Contribute to raising the HSE standards of TEPMA1 by ensuring that employees, contractors and others are sufficiently informed, instructed and trained on their knowledge and use of the HSE Management System.
Training
Assists HSE colleagues in the use of TotalEnergies software, protocols and materials (LiZZY, templates, Intranet, contacts, etc).
Participate in TEPMA1 personnel’s HSE competency assessment, and provide input to Line Management, Human Resources and Affiliate’s top management regarding HSE training requirements.
Being the Focal Point for all HSE trainings, establish a robust HSE training process based on identified needs and required HSE competencies, including a formalized HSE training plan and associated monitoring/tracking means.
Organize HSE trainings & orientations for affiliate and site personnel as required.
Be the administrator of the HSE training tracking tool.
Context & Environment
This position is based in Maputo, as a member of the HSE Methods Team and will support all project locations in Mozambique and abroad.
TEPMA1 is a new entity (created Sept. 2019) following the entry of TotalEnergies in the Mozambique LNG Project. In that context, it is of critical importance to ensure TEPMA1 affiliate is in line with TotalEnergies Standards.
Increasing pressure on the project schedule and costs due to the Oil & Gas market volatility.
